Donate to the projectOur community has long needed a dedicated, modern space to come together. The Castletown Community Centre will change that permanently — a hub for sport, education, culture and connection, open to everyone in the village and surrounding area.
Formally backed by Wexford County Council's 5-Year Development Plan (Recommendation 12) and designed by O'Driscoll Lynn Architects, this is a professionally-planned, community-owned project built around the needs of every age group in Castletown.

While we are actively securing major state grants — including the Community Centres Investment Fund and Sports Capital Programme — community donations form a critical part of our match funding requirement. Every donation, at any level, demonstrates to funders that Castletown stands behind this project.
All funds are held in a dedicated CCDA CLG bank account, subject to full financial oversight. CCDA is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 20207069). Once we secure charitable tax exemption from Revenue, donations may qualify for tax relief.

We're asking each household to give €25 a month for the next few years. You're in charge: cancel anytime if your situation changes.
Under Ireland's Charitable Donation Scheme, once your donations to an approved charity reach €250 in a year, Revenue refunds the charity the income tax you already paid on that money. It works out at roughly €45 extra for every €100 you give — at no extra cost to you. Even €25 a month comes to €300 for the year, comfortably over the €250 mark.
CCDA is now a registered charity (RCN 20207069). The next step is Revenue approval for this scheme — once we're an approved body, we can claim this relief on qualifying donations, so it helps to tell us now if you're an Irish taxpayer.
